Stainless steel vs nonstick

Uncoated stainless and nonstick are different cooking surfaces, not quality scores. Compare coating, utensil guidance and oven limits for the jobs you cook.

Choose the care you will keep up with

Uncoated stainless has no nonstick layer to protect. A coated pan needs its maker’s utensil and heat instructions. Adding a coated skillet need not mean replacing every pot.

Keep model limits separate

The examples are specific pans. Their oven limits, induction declarations and weights are not universal values for either material.

Published dimensions. Portion examples use 75% of stated capacity, not a safe-fill instruction. Height and interior depth are separate.
