Cookware catalog coverage

What is included, and how to read the specifications.

Last materially reviewed:

A bounded US catalog

The catalog contains 24 cookware sets across nine manufacturer groups and 28 individual vessels across at least six brands. It covers stainless clad, ceramic coated, conventional nonstick and hybrid, cast iron, carbon steel and uncoated aluminum construction. Optional wok, griddle, roasting and steaming entries are sourced examples within this bounded catalog. The catalog is a named census, not every cookware product sold in the US.

Count cooking vessels separately

Set trays separate vessels, lids, inserts, utensils and protectors. Nominal rim size is distinct from flat-base size and usable capacity. Every supplied component remains available on the product profile.

Unknown is useful information

An unlisted weight, magnetic-base diameter or lid temperature is not assumed from another model. A strict filter excludes records whose required compatibility cannot be established. For induction or covered oven cooking, use the strict requirement to limit results to products with the necessary declarations.

Facts and photographs

Original vessel diagrams explain roles and composition; they do not depict exact models. Exact-product photographs are displayed only through an authorized source with a verified product mapping. Amazon imagery uses short-lived metadata and is removed when stale. Manufacturer page visibility alone does not grant photo reuse rights.

Read or reuse the comparison facts

The finder and product profiles expose the cookware facts used for each comparison. The machine-readable catalog at /api/catalog.json contains the same normalized facts. Your saved kitchen is a separate optional JSON export and remains on your device.

Where each specification comes from

Each product profile consolidates its manufacturer and supporting exact-product source links. Sources are also collected on the Sources page. A linked product page is evidence for its named variant, not for every size or coating sold in the same collection.

A small catalog, not a live retail feed

The public catalog is a dated editorial snapshot. Automated readers should cache it and fetch at most daily. The product-image endpoint is a temporary display service; it is not permission to archive Amazon photographs or redistribute their metadata. There is no price, stock or purchase API.

Corrections to the catalog

Use the Contact page to report a specific product, field and supporting source. A specification correction is checked against the exact model before the catalog is revised.
